Red Onions vs White Onions?
which scalps the most?
I can't decide :worry: |
Both yucky
Red always. White or yellow are only good if you want them to disappear into your dish... like a soup or cream base where you blend them in completely.
Red have all the flavour and colour and crunch .... yum |
Onion is gross it's in literally everything it needs to STOP
Both  but I'd pick white if I had to
Depends on what you have them with
Red Onion goes best with cheese although White is better to cook with |
White cooked, red if it's in a sandwich or salad
If you'd put this in SD, it would have turned into a white (onion) power thread.
Red are easily the best, although you've missed spring and pickled off the poll. |

Red, but only raw. Cooked onions are vile
The correct answer is spring onion, so I guess white?
Spring onions are too indie to be included.
I like both but red is better as she's versatile you can have ha in a sauce or a sandwich raw if you like
Onion is literally the basis of every meal can you girlies who don't like it cook/how do you eat out?
love both.
Shallots.
Then red. Whites for salad. |
I like both and they both have different uses. Nowt wrong with onions of any kind raw, pickled or whatever , they be lovely.
Pickled onion
Both have a useful place in the world
Scallions.
Though if I had to pick from the list, white onions... |
I like both , white onions is nice cooked and red is nice in salads and other foods :), so I'll pick red .
HATE onions
I appreciate the flavor it brings to food but I just CAN'T eat the actual onions, gross Onion rings are fine though especially if I can bite on it without the whole ring of onion coming out :yuk: |
