Red are easily the best, although you've missed spring and pickled off the poll.

Red always. White or yellow are only good if you want them to disappear into your dish... like a soup or cream base where you blend them in completely.
Red have all the flavour and colour and crunch .... yum

I like both and they both have different uses. Nowt wrong with onions of any kind raw, pickled or whatever , they be lovely.

I like both , white onions is nice cooked and red is nice in salads and other foods

HATE onions
I appreciate the flavor it brings to food but I just CAN'T eat the actual onions, gross Onion rings are fine though especially if I can bite on it without the whole ring of onion coming out ![]()

Red for raw or crispy fried for sausage buns.
White for most cooking. Scallions for salads. |
