I'm working

smudgie 03-12-2018 01:46 PM

Absolutely no time line, first time ever I think.

Daughter and fella are home on the 14th, we will probs have our Xmas day on the Sunday or soon after. They are back home to Brighton for actual Christmas.
Then on the 25th hubby and I will get up at leisure and have a day of just chilling!
Telly, chocs, booze for him.
An easy lunch or dinner of sorts.
Then in mid January we do it all again, son and girlfriend will be over from America to celebrate a late Xmas with us.
Doubt we will be leaving the Xmas decs up.:joker:

Get up. Eat and drink. Open presents. Eat and drink. Meet family coming over. Christmas dinner. Playing games. Eat and drink. Watch the telly while eating and drinking. Then bed.

Really quiet one this year. Get up 8-ish I reckon, bucks fizz and presents, my friend and his husband arrive 11-ish for prezzies and drinks. One pm-ish walk to my parents' house about half a mile away where my mother will have been in the kitchen since 6am and where my grandmother will be. Home about six-ish to veg on the sofa in front of the telly.

Eddie. 03-12-2018 02:44 PM

We have a huge feast at midnight with all our family and friends. I often stay up until four in the morning. :joker:

We also open our presents.

Then we will go for mass in the following morning, if we didn't go the night before...

After that we have lunch in some fancy restaurant and the rest of the day is spent lazying around the house.

Most of the festivities occur on the 24th...

Cherie 03-12-2018 03:10 PM

I like to get dinner over as early as possible so we can relax, dinner could be on the table as early as 12.30 and all done and dusted by 2pm :omgno:

Was in Ireland a few years ago and my Mum had been ill and some neighbours who never visited normally decided to drop in at 1pm just as we were dishing up dinner, they were having theirs at 4, I felt like dropping in on them at 4.15 :idc: who does that....oh we were just passing on our walk...**** off :fist:
