Absolutely no time line, first time ever I think.

Daughter and fella are home on the 14th, we will probs have our Xmas day on the Sunday or soon after. They are back home to Brighton for actual Christmas.
Then on the 25th hubby and I will get up at leisure and have a day of just chilling!
Telly, chocs, booze for him.
An easy lunch or dinner of sorts.
Then in mid January we do it all again, son and girlfriend will be over from America to celebrate a late Xmas with us.
Doubt we will be leaving the Xmas decs up.

Really quiet one this year. Get up 8-ish I reckon, bucks fizz and presents, my friend and his husband arrive 11-ish for prezzies and drinks. One pm-ish walk to my parents' house about half a mile away where my mother will have been in the kitchen since 6am and where my grandmother will be. Home about six-ish to veg on the sofa in front of the telly.

We have a huge feast at midnight with all our family and friends. I often stay up until four in the morning.

We also open our presents.

Then we will go for mass in the following morning, if we didn't go the night before...

After that we have lunch in some fancy restaurant and the rest of the day is spent lazying around the house.

Most of the festivities occur on the 24th...

I like to get dinner over as early as possible so we can relax, dinner could be on the table as early as 12.30 and all done and dusted by 2pm

Was in Ireland a few years ago and my Mum had been ill and some neighbours who never visited normally decided to drop in at 1pm just as we were dishing up dinner, they were having theirs at 4, I felt like dropping in on them at 4.15 who does that....oh we were just passing on our walk...**** off

7am - Wake Up/Open Presents
8am - We usually finish opening during this time (5 or 6 of us opening stuff, one at a time)
8-9am - My siblings usually have their breakfast.
9-10am - I go to my Nana's house (I'm staying there this year though)
10-11am - Family comes down, exchange presents, bucks fizz and bacon sandwiches

Kids will have us up at stupid o clock, lol, about 8 ish we all have a full English brekkie ,hubby plays with the kids toys just to make sure they work ok ,I usually get rid of all the paper and rubbish , time for dogs to go for a walk, We are all going out for Christmas dinner, this year so I'm looking forward to a big family get together, when we get home I guess we will vegetate on the sofa , have a drink and hope the kids are knackered so we get a nice cozy evening together , off to NY for New Year so that will be amazing.

- wake up, get dressed, a Christmas morning breakfast here is usually with Christmas breads
- do my chores (washing the dishes, tidying up my bed)

- play some games on computer, listen to some music

- workouts in front of the telly

- Christmas lunch

- more games, fun and usually there are some nice movies on the telly around Christmas time in the afternoon

- going outside for just a bit, even if it's cold bit of fresh air is good for you

- preparing and making Christmas dinner, we first did the traditional Christmas dinner with the Turkey but now we've swapped it for a really lovely potato salad with loads of vegetables, eggs and homemade chocolate pudding, while 2nd Christmas day or boxing day you guys call it in UK we take the gourmet set out of storage to do that for fun me and my dad a sort of tradition we have been doing for many years

- evenings Christmas eve we give each other presents, drink tea and eat lovely Christmas candies, with telly on at the glass house charity show around this time of the year, Christmas day we watch the BBC Christmas special shows including strictly xmas special, call the midwife xmas special
