He accused Rachel Boyle, an academic at Edge Hill University, of racism after she called him 'a white privileged male' on Question Time.] [Writing in the Spectator he said: 'I have come to the conclusion that I may never get an acting job again without expressing ‘correct’ opinions. 'While this probably isn’t the end of the world for you, it is a cause of some sadness and anxiety for me. 'Not least because I’ve always loved my job and also because I have two children who need dinner and clothes and a holiday once in a while.'] https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...-protests.html |
A fading actor with an exciting new prospect in far-right posterboy money, not a fan of a populist movement? Colour me shocked.

Speaking for the GBP as per
He will of course trigger passengers on the Bandwagon who follow the "popstars" like sheep Well said sir |
.... 'I have come to the conclusion that I may never
get an acting job again’...When he uses that type of contrived dialogue, I feel that he’s Not playing from the heart, but playing to an ‘audience‘...it’s interesting since the horrendous murder of George Floyd, how many people are painting themselves as the victim ...and they only start shouting when another black life becomes a victim... |

He is not a fading Actor He was in the Award-winning 1917 Film which I watched in a 4DX cinema |
We didn't ask for his opinion
|
Interesting that he listed ‘a holiday’ as one of his children’s basic needs alongside food and clothes.

No-one is silencing him, it’s not BLM’s fault that he hasn’t worked for a year

In an age where actors and singers seem to be the voice of the generation that is going to save us all... I don't see why he cannot say what he feels. I don't see why anybody should be silenced.

I agree completely with your post. Totally right your mention of George Floyd's death being horrendous. The other massive concern I had on that death was, how awful it was plus it was filmed. Then for me, just what other atrocities are done in circumstances where filming isn't done. Frightening. |

He is unfortunate to be working in an industry where there is very little diversity of opinion
