A fading actor with an exciting new prospect in far-right posterboy money, not a fan of a populist movement? Colour me shocked.

Crimson Dynamo 19-06-2020 04:51 AM

Speaking for the GBP as per

He will of course trigger passengers on the Bandwagon who follow the "popstars" like sheep

Well said sir

.... 'I have come to the conclusion that I may never
get an acting job again’...When he uses that type of contrived dialogue, I feel that he’s Not playing from the heart, but playing to an ‘audience‘...it’s interesting since the horrendous murder of George Floyd, how many people are painting themselves as the victim ...and they only start shouting when another black life becomes a victim...

He is not a fading Actor
He was in the Award-winning 1917 Film
which I watched in a 4DX cinema

We didn't ask for his opinion

Morgan. 19-06-2020 07:46 AM

Interesting that he listed ‘a holiday’ as one of his children’s basic needs alongside food and clothes.

His Views are published in a Magazine
that's why we have a thread on it.

And many
Respect him as an Actor

Liam- 19-06-2020 09:27 AM

No-one is silencing him, it’s not BLM’s fault that he hasn’t worked for a year

The show totally doesn't need a second season, the characters were all really unlikeable imo and the only interesting thing about it was seeing the who dun it in the end, what's the point in a second season?

No it doesn’t need it, however the cast have all expressed interest in doing more and I think the writers were keen to explore more into the lives of them :joker:

In an age where actors and singers seem to be the voice of the generation that is going to save us all... I don't see why he cannot say what he feels. I don't see why anybody should be silenced.

Absolutely a joy to see you on here again too Ammi.

I agree completely with your post.
Totally right your mention of George Floyd's death being horrendous.

The other massive concern I had on that death was, how awful it was plus it was filmed.
Then for me, just what other atrocities are done in circumstances where filming isn't done.

Frightening.

He's had and used that right though, and no one has denied him his opinion.

He hasn't been silenced and he can (and has) said what he feels. If execs, directors and showrunners no longer want to hire him based on things he's said... They also have the freedom to make that choice. That's how it works. People are free to say what they feel, but they do not have the ability (nor the right) to dictate how other people respond to their words.

He is unfortunate to be working in an industry where there is very little diversity of opinion
