As a PC gamer there's literally no reason for me to buy an Xbox... Like no I don't want a mid-range PC to plug into my telly thanks. Ew.

PlayStation having excellent exclusives means that, for me, they will always win that war.

PS5 (disc version) for me

It's looking like the digital edition for me, not for price but just because it looks nicer and its been years since I bought a game on disc. It was going to be the version with a drive, but then I found out there's no PS2 backwards compatibility [emoji24]

I voted PS5 because that's what I'll be getting Luke for Christmas

A PS5 in February/March when I know there isn't any issues with the first batch.

I can see myself getting a Series S down the line as well though if Microsoft's exclusives make it worth it.

I'll try and get the 5 at launch, and then pick up a digital xbox at some point in the new year.

I have read that the PS5 might have supply issues at launch though. I'm not that arsed about getting one on launch day - I'd consider pretty much anything in the first 6 months as being "more or less" at launch.

I think there's been some issue with the manufacturing of a key component (a large number had a defect) and so they haven't been able to provide enough systems to meet projected pre-order numbers.

I've just sorted mine. Went in-store to my local Game. £10 deposit for the console, £5 deposit for Miles Morales, and £5 for extra controller.

I'd recommend doing the same Niamh. Getting it ordered online could be a problem.

I called in to Games Stop on my break and was able to pre order the for the 2nd round, no guarantee of them coming in before Christmas though. I can always cancel that if I manage to get one sooner. I might call in to Currys on my home though and see if they have any pre orders left (you're not able to order them from the Irish website so maybe they're only doing in store orders? :fc: )
