John Lewis Insurance ad has been pulled

And not due to how annoying it was

But insurance companies would not pay out if someone deliberately thrashed their home :hehe:

They went far too over the top with the add.
We all know kids can get into mischief, but claiming insurance would be a none starter.

whoever signed this off at JL should be sacked

bitontheslide 28-10-2021 05:56 PM

i know someone that dropped their tv down a flight of stairs so they could get the latest model on insurance. I know someone that didn't maintain their house roof for 20 years, until it got wrecked in a storm and they got a new one for free. Insurance companies are much wiser to it these days and it's flipped in their favour more now, but the fact remains, if people think they can get something for nothing, they will go for it

Boy in a dress wrecks house in insurance ad. John Lewis is like the beacon for wealthy liberals everywhere.

Absolutely knockout tune though.

He messed up his sister's project and ruined his mother's house ...

A male in a dress destroying things for the females ...

I wonder if JL meant it to be so representative :hehe:
