I am recording it
as she admits she was Guilty of joining Isis

Josh worked hard to get what people wanted to know.

Also, are the Labour Party
are they the same at keeping her out?

He doesn't, he see's himself more as UK. He told Piers Morgan that. He lived most his life in England.

I really don’t know what to think about Shamima after watching that documentary. She’s a very strange character.

Redway 09-02-2023 01:55 AM

I don’t think Huda Mukbil really knows what dissociation means.

I saw a few seconds online where she was seemingly blaming all the hatred towards her on the MEDIA

There are definitely worse ways to pass a Wednesday evening so I enjoyed watching it but at the end of the day Shamima knows what she did. She basically got caught up with the wrong crowd (all three girls, mind, were seemingly just normal, even good/intelligent, students until they got ISIS-indoctrinated) and ended up making the biggest mistake of her life by going over to Syria as a 15-year-old, getting married to an older guy and losing two (or three; I can’t even remember how many times she said she got pregnant while she was with him) of her kids. I do sympathise with her but it is kind of hard to believe that she seriously had no idea what ISIS was truly about when she first signed up and wasn’t able to take any cue whatsoever from the news/media about the dangers of it just because she was a teenager. But at the end of the day none of us really know her so it’s hard to say. I just know that I wouldn’t like to have been her during those years.

One thing about Shamima that’s definitely kept is her social awkwardness. She didn’t seem like she could even get a sentence out without stuttering but nonetheless she’s obviously quite intelligent and articulate besides that. Not really trying to offer her any other praise after what she did but it’s safe to say she’s glown up a bit and she isn’t exactly stupid (which is why she should’ve known better).

Not praise but facts are she was groomed and radicalised online as a 15 year old, I don't believe at that age she could possibly have a real understanding of what she was doing/taking on

I believe the whole thing has effed her head up , but I agree that she was radicalised & brainwashed...but she still must have known this was wrong or atleast dangerous on some level. She was 15 not 9 so yeah .

Especially when isis was all over the news at the time aswell.

I agree.

You wouldnt punish a 15yr old who ran away to meet the person who groomed them online.

Shes probably been punished enough and should be brought home imo.

a 15 year old is perfectly capable of making their own mind up, planning a trip, and covering their tracks. I don't believe the .... she was groomed story ... for a moment

She’s apparently very intelligent so I’m wondering if she’d heard all the rumours and stories about what happens to young girls joining ISIS but decided to ignore or discard them ..
