The clapping was a nice gesture as a one off, a nicer gesture would be to give them proper pay rises, 14.00 an hour is rubbish money, most admins earn more than that
|
We all did it to feel less isolated during lockdown.
Not JUST because of that, obviously :joker: but it helped us all feel less alone. |

But at the time nobody knew that !!! We saw people dying in car parks in Italy and China Most of us were terrified Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

My point is that , for whatever reasons , the majority were petrified and that’s why we appreciated the nurses risking their lives for a relative pittance… even you were ! https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...a9f3eff30b.jpg Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

Me? It basically upended my life, I'm constantly fatigued, rarely have any energy, and it gave me joint pain. Before I was relatively healthy, drank water all day long, watched what I ate. Though I have underlying conditions tbf Someone else I know did just have a cough and fatigue while he had it, but completely shrugged both off within a few weeks of having it Different people reacted differently to it. |
