Anyone her prefers being alone or is it just me?
I'm a bit like my late dad, a bit of a loner.
Really uncomfortable in social settings. I mean I love my family, but going to see them every year it's such a chore  |
Oh, absolutely. Just recently I've been reconnecting with a friend who I had a bad falling out with, but we're having to take it slow on my account because, in my own words, I've grown comfortable with being alone again. :hehe:

I have friends, but i just love not having to answer to anyone. I can do things spontaneously. Go anywhere I i want. When I want. |
I'm easy doing both. Sometimes I cant be arsed with either though.

I have to visit some relatives before I go back. Not looking forward to it :joker:

Yes I am very happy in my own company and dislike social settings as I don't
like chit chat and am not very much interested in people.. I remember as a child only being interested in football stats and really hated in my annuals interviews with players and I had no interest in who they were etc. Same as I grew older and started reading magazines if i came across and interview with some celeb i would always skip it even if i liked their music or films. Give me stats and numbers than peoples lives.. |
My brother just hit a significant birthday and had a party
I was driving so the kids could drink and I found it excruciating and was very pleased when I could go Its the opposite of what I would want to do for that type of birthday but I'm not knocking it if its for you |
Yep a long time loner here ..
No idea how I came to be married with kids amd grandkids … I don’t really like most people :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro |

Reckon I am in the common group.
Love company and also my own space. Very lucky lady here that manages both very well…plus I do exactly what I want, I have my own mind. |

Being socially introverted isn’t a rare thing. It’s a natural and normal personality dimension. You won’t need to be a Jungian philosopher or MBTI-socionics analyst to understand the basic concept of introversion.

Seriously, Vanessa, being a bit of an introvert isn’t exactly a rare thing. There are many, many people out there who prefer their own company and feel more comfortable by themselves or in small groups when they are socialising, for a wide variety of reasons. Some people lean more towards extraversion on the social scale and some are pretty-much exactly 50/50. And that’s just fine, too. People are different. You need to get out of this idea that it’s an uncommon personality trait.

@MTVN I literally don’t think you could have picked a bigger picture

I love being around my family.
But I'm not comfortable talking to strangers, although I am trying to fix that a little bit. |

Understandable tbh, I keep telling myself that I would want a girlfriend, but then I realise that I just don't like people very much. Don't get me wrong I like people on here, but I'm talking about in person. |
