What are your May Bank Holiday plans this weekend?…

…if you want to share them, of course…do you have any Bank Holiday plans/excursions etc…?….it’s raining here atm, I hope that will pass soon and that the sun will find its way…

It's not a bank holiday weekend here but this morning we're going shopping and this evening we're going to the beach. Tomorrow we'll probably have lunch with the in-law's and a walk in the evening.

To do as little as possible.
Had a rather chewy and hard week re workload.

So just going to do near nothing other than what my pet Staffie demands and follow the final matches of this premier league football season.

…chewy…?…that sounds like a good plan for you, Joey and I hope your staffie enjoys their weekend too and isn’t too demanding…

The weather is beautiful at the moment so it would be a waste to just rot indoors. Life is what you make it.

…life here atm is what the rain is making it…..actually today we had planned some garden chore/stuff but it’s dry weather things so we’ll have to re-direct our plans, which we will…when I can shake myself awake enough to get ready…

The weather has turned which is a shame, yesterday we took a boat out on the Broads for a couple of hours it was lovely, today I am still in bed

Yeah we left as the rain came in. How glorious that must have been on the boat. I’d love to get a boat and do that.

Just sell your kidneys. You can get a boat then.

I honestly love the idea of a few nights on the calm ocean in a little boat.

Have you ever tried a Barge holiday Cherie? I had my first Barge holiday on the Broads with school friends after taking A levels. I have had 2 further Barge holidays with my girlfriends over the last few years. When the weather is good its just great fun.

…a Broads boat holiday is what we’re doing this year with my brother…I think that I said that we have a ‘re-visit’ break each year with them…?…sometimes a nostalgic childhood destination but boating on the Broads was something we did when I was expecting my first son so…back to the non parenting days……

….I think that everyone I know has talked about buying a boat at times…it’s not so much the cost of the boat itself as we discovered…it’s the maintenance and mooring charges etc that are the ongoing thing…

ah brilliant, yes mooring and maintenance is the thing, we are looking at our finances  as a matter of interest who did you book with?
