It's not a bank holiday weekend here but this morning we're going shopping and this evening we're going to the beach. Tomorrow we'll probably have lunch with the in-law's and a walk in the evening.

…life here atm is what the rain is making it…..actually today we had planned some garden chore/stuff but it’s dry weather things so we’ll have to re-direct our plans, which we will…when I can shake myself awake enough to get ready…

Have you ever tried a Barge holiday Cherie? I had my first Barge holiday on the Broads with school friends after taking A levels. I have had 2 further Barge holidays with my girlfriends over the last few years. When the weather is good its just great fun.

…a Broads boat holiday is what we’re doing this year with my brother…I think that I said that we have a ‘re-visit’ break each year with them…?…sometimes a nostalgic childhood destination but boating on the Broads was something we did when I was expecting my first son so…back to the non parenting days……

….I think that everyone I know has talked about buying a boat at times…it’s not so much the cost of the boat itself as we discovered…it’s the maintenance and mooring charges etc that are the ongoing thing…
