Is Stuart: Smart or STUpid?

ROFL, a bit boring, possible candidate to go friday.:spin:

BusyBee 15-07-2004 08:15 AM

Stuart - he is so wrapped up in his game plan that he is frightened to say boo to a goose. As soon as there is any hint of confrontation he turns away or walks off. Stand up for what you believe in. He is in danger of disappearing into the wallpaper of the bedsit.

JC 15-07-2004 01:06 PM

He knows a lot of obscure things that not many other do, but he seems a bit lacking in the common sense department.

Sunny_01 15-07-2004 01:26 PM

I just dont get him at all bless - he must be to intelligent for me

Dhil02 15-07-2004 02:47 PM

I think hes so smart, i mean who wud'nt go for michelle? Thats an intelligent move in its self!!!

Mike 15-07-2004 02:48 PM

More like Michelle went for him lol

JC 15-07-2004 02:50 PM

More like she grabbed him by the scruff of his neck and shaked him into submission

Sunny_01 15-07-2004 03:00 PM

lol

Dhil02 15-07-2004 03:10 PM

Yeh true but you cant say that he didnt want it and he probaly wanted her just as much as she wanted him but she made the first move.

Sunny_01 15-07-2004 03:14 PM

I have to say he goes after her just as much as she does him these days - at first there was a lot of resistence from him but her bunny boiler ways won his little heart by the look of it

Dhil02 15-07-2004 07:29 PM

yeh very true

golden~rose 15-07-2004 07:30 PM

i agree, its both ways now! but i still think that she's more eager and when they leave i dont think the roamnce will last!

Dhil02 15-07-2004 07:35 PM

Maybe/Maybe not i dont really no i hope it does but i wont really care in the long run U???

golden~rose 15-07-2004 07:40 PM

i would be happy for them if their romance is for real when they leave the house but im being pretty realistic saying that it wont last. michelle and stu have contrasting personalities and michelle is older than stu!

Dhil02 15-07-2004 07:43 PM

yeh mayb they wont last who knows?????

golden~rose 15-07-2004 07:45 PM

i guess we'll find out after bb:thumbs:

Dhil02 15-07-2004 07:49 PM

will do

golden~rose 15-07-2004 07:50 PM

:spin:

She Devil 15-07-2004 08:07 PM

Well Michelle said that she is falling in love with Stu but I don't think Stu feels the same way. He likes her but I don't think it is love where he is concerned.

If it does last the poor kid will never be able to speak his mind again.

BTW did you all see him crying on BBLB - I felt really sorry for him

Kore 15-07-2004 10:06 PM

why was he crying...?

i agree, he hasnt bough out the true self because of michelle.
and havnt voiced his opinions at all!!
just been michelles love toy:bawling:

Dhil02 16-07-2004 08:59 AM

Yeh she is a bit bossy and she shud let him speak his mind

Sunny_01 16-07-2004 10:58 AM

I think that it is a case of watch this space with Michelle and Stu - will they wont they oh my god the suspense is killing me lol

p2pnut 16-07-2004 12:25 PM

I doubt that the 'romance' will last beyond the first Sun/Star/NoW reporter showing Michelle the size of his cheque book. Unless Stu also fancies a career in soft porn modeling (Michelle's stated ambition).

To go back to the original question .......

Quote:

Is Stuart: Smart or STUpid?
....... There is a tendency to equate 'intelligence' with being 'smart'.

I have come across a number of people who have a very high IQ, but who are barely able to cope unassisted in the real world.

One excellent example of this type applied for a job with me many years ago. He had a first degree in Psychology and held the highest post-graduate qualifications possible - on paper he appeared to be near perfect and at semi-genius level. When he eventually turned up for his interview he explained his (considerable) lateness by saying that he had confused Camberley (in Surrey), where the interview was to be held, with Camberwell (in London). Needless to say I didn't waste my time by even giving him an interview.

It's neatly summed up with the expression ...... "High IQ but can't tie his own shoelaces up"

bananarama 16-07-2004 01:08 PM

Very very true p2pnut . You are not the only one to have noticed such. To me intelligence is not about what you know or how much you know. Intelligence to me is the art of knowing how to use your knowledge base no matter how little or large that may be.

Some are lucky enough to have memories like blotting paper and can absorb a whole lot of stuff. As we all know blotting paper has no sense.
