According to The Sun, Efron commented at the London premiere of High School Musical 3 that he has been approached to take over from Daniel Radcliffe.

Zac Effron isnt good enough to be in Equus, its an extremely deep role to play. If they give it him then I will have no faith in main stream theatre anymore.
Zac should stick to his air head musicals and shouldn't even attempt to delve into real acting territory. Zac Effron is a Celebrity not an actor!

He doesnt even know the name of the play! He just knows it as the role that Daniel Radcliffe plays! He doesnt deserve it! Give it someone who actually gives a damn about the play and not to someone who wants it for the money.

And to add to the thread, the only people that would go and watch is people who want to go see his genitals... and thats so the wrong reason to go watch a play. Because you know the whole audience will be bored to death until he gets his kit off, and then they will all be wondering why the hell Zac is having sex with a horse... because they have been asleep for the whole thing.

I never used to fancy Azc Efron but he seems to have gotten really hot recently,or maybe I was just kidding myself :laugh:
