I forgot how addicting gym pain is

Spent about 3-4 hours today working out and I haven't for ages, so because I'm not used to it I'm in pain, but its a really good pain

Anybody know what I'm on about or am I just weird? :blush2::tongue:

30stone 06-01-2009 04:02 PM

I love it to, i have it badly on my chest today havent trained it in over 2 weeks so its more painful than usual..

but nah your not wierd a lot of people like it.

The funniest thing ive seen is when they had to cycle for 24 hours on bb9 and bex was crawling around the floor because of muscle pain... its not that bad lol..

We do weightliting 5 days a week focusing on one muscle each day...

and training hard enough you feel it,

i guess its different if your just doing fitness stuff...

WATERS 06-01-2009 04:39 PM

pinkmichk 06-01-2009 04:41 PM

isnt it like a endorphin rush type thing after having been to the gym is that what you mean?
its a long time since i went to the gym i cant use most the equipment with my dodgy knee and hip so just stick to swimming and walking everywhere

With weightlifting your muscle rips to let itself grow..

thought thats what the pain was from

pinkmichk 06-01-2009 05:02 PM

:laugh3: well i certainly didnt weightlift but sure i heard somewhere that you get a feel good endorphin release after working out

Ninastar 06-01-2009 05:18 PM

No omg i love the feeling. Its hard to explain but your legs of arms feel healthier and just better overall lol x

Fom 06-01-2009 05:27 PM

I do know what you are on about but its because your not cooling yourself down properly mister! Do some light exercise after a session and STRETCH. I hate it when I dont stretch after a day of college, I get in uber pain! I get you why its good though, because you feel like you have done something, but its not nice either.

Joelston 06-01-2009 08:11 PM

Breaking through that pain barrier is a great feeling.

I havn't been to the gym over the xmas period, and Im looking forward to training again!

Metrosexual is a straight guy with feminine qualities.

Or as wiki puts it: Metrosexual is a neologism of the 2000s generally applied to heterosexual men with a strong concern for their appearance, and/or whose lifestyles display attributes stereotypically attributed to gay men.

30stone 06-01-2009 09:10 PM

ohhh lol ok.

thought metrosexuals might work out then...
