Paul and Helen were on TV, And I missed it!! SAY IT ISN\'T SO!!!
 

At work today our new clerk saw my scrummy Paul Clarke screen saver and asked who it was (Good grief, where DO they recruit them these days?) When I told her that she was gazing upon the face of greatness, she seemed strangely unmoved and said 'He was on telly at the weekend, with that dizzy blonde, presenting a prize at the soap awards'

Trauma!!! How could I have missed it? Why has no-one mentioned it??


I fear she was in earnest, she was quite adamant about it, and somewhat taken aback at my clutching her by the throat asking her to please say she was joking

I fear my credibility with this new staff member may have been jeopardised.......

I actually watched the Soap Awards but my niece was round and we were 'blethering' at the same time so I wasn't really paying attention unless they were announcing the winners. :blush:

I know that Brian presented an award and I did see him, but not Paul & Helen.

Nope, it must be a mistake cos I watched all the soap awards and the bits on ITV2 and there was no sign of Paul and Helen!:elephant:
