Star Trek has always had social issues as a part of it.
DS9 is my favourite Star Trek. I never really got the episode 'Far Beyond the Stars' mentioned before though. I remember some reviewers sayign it was one of the best episodes.
I've watched the first half of Discovery. Maybe I didn't like it as much as I thought, that's why I haven't finished it yet.
