These stories as they are can open up important topics to kids that might not come up in a way they would understand if we rewrite the old stories. Again, people who don't like the old stories need to come up with their own instead of expecting what are harmless traditional stories to change for their own benefit.

Yeah I don't like the idea of traditional classic fairytales being butchered to fit someone's "modern life" , even the movie In To The Woods annoyed me the way they made Prince charming cheat on Cinderella. The movie wasn't that good either.
