Like, the original writer being back on board means nothing... the original was terrible and quickly spun out to copy off Halloween.
The original Halloween was fantastic and that’s why it was so exciting John Carpenter was involved.

Of course, but I loved the creepiness of it and the killings were quite gory, but i've never considered it to be on the same level as Halloween. That movie (the first one) is a masterpiece.
