I could actually see these experimental business models becoming more complex over time. Full disclosure: I'm not on board with the AI fear thing. I feel like it's been exaggerated, the true potential there to mimic human-beings. The same way with the PC, they were assumed to have taken over the entire house and our lives by this point. Not quite...

However, I can see where maybe an arbitrary system of checks&balances using algorithms could be developed to promote "transparency" between staff. In addition to having things like pay/score/employee activities be transparent, it would be possible to remove all human element from things like work schedules, HR issues, time off, etc... all in the name of "fairness".

Employees could have their own social media-esk "profile" which may or may not have a direct influence on their employment...
