And I've just made a batch of scones  look not too bad for a terrible baker imo but more importantly they taste amazing!

Glad that you've excelled yourself with your sponge and batch of scones though.
When I have the time, I usually make scones, quiche's and pasties, sponges etc.
I made some coffee kisses on Thursday and they are scrumptious, but i've put the rest away, otherwise i'd end up the size of a house by next week. lol
