I don’t think Francesca was wrong for choosing Curtis either. I would agree that Maura and Curtis have a better connection with one another, but Francesca had to choose someone to couple with and she has to go for the person she is both attracted too and who she sees more potential with and Curtis was that guy for her. If she hadn’t have gone with her true feelings, she would’ve been wasting her time and just sat there left wondering “if only” kinda like what Lucie did with Tommy.
You may be right and I know it sounds superficial but really there was zero chemistry between her and Curtis even before he went to sleep outside. He pretended he was happy but both he and Maura were disappointed in my humble opinion. As for whether Maura and Curtis can make a go of things we will have to wait and see but I would be very VERY surprised of any of the new islanders will turn their heads
