He didn't even say "The Indian lady" or whatever, using it as an adjective, he used it as a noun - "The Indian". The tone and intent is quite clear.

Yeah and he clearly knows a bit about her for him to be able to refer to her as Indian, I don't think anybody would assume she was Indian/of Indian heritage by looking at her so I don't believe for one minute that he didn't know what her name was
