Thing is the likes of you and I and many others are just being thoughtful and helpful but it takes nothing to say Thankyou and show a bit of appreciation...and if people cannot do that then they deserve nothing...in the long run its their loss. |
You're right. I must admit though if I am expecting a parcel, it's then the postman will say, 'will you take one in for next door?' Next time I am in that position I will say no, 'I'm going out myself.'
The thing is if I take parcels in, I'm the one that cannot go out, just in case the neighbour comes for their parcel. And it's so rude to ring the doorbell at 10.20pm.
