I don't think we should be panicking about high cases but there doesn't seem to be much focus on the knock on affect of so many people having to isolate for what's actually a heck of a long time. There'll be a lot of shop closures, supply chain disruption, understaffed vital services etc and yes like he says there are a lot of people who can't afford to not work for that long
It Omicron symptoms are milder and we're going to have to live with high case numbers then maybe they should cut the isolation time for a positive test
