Well first of all you've moved the goal posts here, you're now talking about medical testing of drugs on animals rather than using animal organs as a life saving procedure and secondally you said "I’m sure it will have the same stigma as having a fur coat or snakeskin handbag" which is blatantly not true, people are never going to think using animals for medical reasons and life saving reasons is on par with using an animal's skin or fur for fashion. And I'm sure a you.gov Poll would have the %'s twice the height for that
