I also like a SCOTTISH sausage supper (battered sausages) but not those gross ones you get in England where its more like a big hot dog thing (not battered). Ew. Same goes for steak pie supper - in Scotland the pie is, of course, deep fried. Pie suppers in England aren't the same at all, they're this weird little round pie and not deep fried. Who wants that?
Never had battered chips from a chippy but one of the Chinese take aways around here does battered salt 'n' pepper chips and they're gorgeous.
