Yeah I don't think that would fly with them. It's the first NCT (MOT) I actually need for mine so I didn't even realise until I got an email about it and I tried booking straight away but there's a massive backlog, i can show them I booked it months ago, not my fault they didn't have a closer appointment so I'd say they'll probably give me a break (unless they expected me to drive hours away to get a sooner appointment
