I was reading an old Beano annual from the 1980s the other day that my Granny still has in her house. The opening comic strip had Walter the Softy talking about how he's allergic to tomatoes and Dennis the Menace promptly comes along and starts pelting him with tomatoes sending Walter away crying
Not sure that one would be allowed now
