I agree with OP here. I like more stripped back houses. Not quite as simple as BB4, but not as elaborate as future houses became. I also prefer moderately sized houses - helps the claustrophobic feel, although I expect the new house to be quite open and spacious.
I also like the single staircase entrance, leading to a door into the main area of the house which branches off.
