TiBB Pointless Quiz

In the past The TiBB Pointless Quiz has more been run as a corresponding game with Niamh’s Top Answers but this is a First Season edition of a Pointless stand alone quiz/game…a Pointless Maiden Voyage as it were…but hopefully it won’t end up sinking to the bottom of the TiBB seas…but if it does?…well, we’ll never speak of it again…

As with many new launch events, there will be goodie bags filled with pointless accessories and bits and snacks given out to every member taking part…but there will also be a very special token in each and every Pointless player’s bag which has been donated by TiBB management…as you all know, James has worked tirelessly (while still remaining jolly) over the last few months/years to give us all a new @ feature and he has agreed a ONE OFF ONLY use of 5 minutes per member to @ any member(s) they wish to ban…every member’s name that you @ with your token within your 5 minute allocated time slot?…will be banished forever from TiBB…I’m fairly sure that this goodie bag pledge from James has been confirmed and verified by MTVN, although Niamh and AnnieK have been unavailable for comment so far…

…so anyway, I’m going to muddle on with some rules/explanations as I’ve only hosted this game once myself …and Shaun was here for me to scream HELP and to guide me…but as per the TV quiz show 'Pointless' - each member is asked to submit a correct answer to each of the questions in this one round game - but - the aim of the game is to also try to submit answers that you think the least amount of other members will also submit. With each question/answer I will take all unique scores (if there are any) and give them "0" points because no one else has given that same answer. Everyone else who submits the same answer as another member will incur at least one point, though - depending on the number of sharing persons of that answer. For example: if, by some atrocity, 9 of you all said "X", then you would score 8 points (because 2 people sharing would be 1 point) for that question plus then adding all others with that same answer…

For this game, I have given some helpful links for some of the questions because that will help in knowing what the options/choices are that are ‘acceptable’ answers for the purpose of the game - that’s helpful for you and for me for everyone to be looking at the same choices but trying to decide for themselves which option would give the lowest points and be the least answer given…

However, I will just say that if you did give me an answer that is not correct? (No, that won’t happen, though) I will be forced and agonised to give you maximum points (the total number of people who are participating and answering that particular question).

- SO at the end of the game the person with the lowest combined total score will win the first Season edition of Pointless and be the first to be given their 5 minute @ banning privilege …and thank you again, James, for that very special donation….

Just to add that all answers are to be sent to me by PM and no answer discussions/hints/or any variations there of to take place in the thread…any questions, though, please ask…
