This is some strange ****, these groups have done in days what rebel forces couldn't do over months and years before. Who the hell are these guys? Seem to have come out of nowhere

I guess the thing is all the other powers are distracted right now - Russia with Ukraine, Iran with Israel, the US is a lame duck. I expect there's some significant support from some of the Gulf monarchies playing a role here
