All I know is what I heard on the radio, talking from a blokes point of view who couldn't care less who's the cutest or the most nice or whatever. I heard a song that I'd never heard before and it wasn't a cover version. I'm not bothered about miming myself he's made a record which is fair enough. George Michael used to do enough miming and it never did him any harm. I used to like top of the pops years ago, but when they changed that to singing live I stopped watching it as I thought most of them sounded bloody awful. All I know is if he writes his own songs get's them in the charts and their good enough and I've not heard them before, and I notice them, then good luck to the guy. Must be good if they picked someone with a bit talent. Might be a one hit wonder of course. But it's got an old sod like me noticing whats going on in the pop world and that makes a change.
