No. You don't have to make a choice. If I vote for someone I believe to be incompotent, whose views don't allign with mine, I have accomplished nothing - read -
nothing by voting for them. Actually wait - I have. I have supported someone I don't wish to support. What a great way to devalue yourself. Your argument basically boils down to voting for the sake of it. For the pure act of it alone. If it accomplishes nothing, I would rather sit at home and rub one out.
