Had BEN in response to JJames question answered ohhe said and then gone on to say something that Mario had not said to him then he would have then BEEN LYING, as it was he decided to tell JJames wisely nothing about the conversation so exercised his right to at his discretion, reveal what MARIO had said or keep it to himself, he chose the latter(keep it to himslef) and most decent friends do choose that side of discretion when a friend tells them something.
