I think though the time has come especially with X Factor on a saturday and Sunday now that the judges votes as to who goes out should be done away with.

Deadlock as it stands is unfair too since the public vote on the Saturdays performances.they have no prior knowledge of who will be in the bottom 2, unlike when the Judges vote in the sing off, they then know who is the bottom 2 and supposedly should vote on the sing off performances.

What could be done now though is to have the bottom 2 announced at the start of the Sunday show,have a sing off,then open those 2 acts lines again, (as they do in the final),have the public vote agin on those 2 acts only for the near remainder of Sundays show then announce as they do now who got the least votes then and so goes out.

Have the Judges judge the auditions, boot camp and subsequently who goes in to the live finals,but then the judges become mentors only and the rest is as it should be, down to the public using their time and money to say and decide who stays and goes all through.
