One of my best friends from high school was half greek, and spent summers in Greece. she loved it. never had a bad word to say about it.
Eventually her greek grandma ended up coming to live with her here in the US, and she was the sweetest old woman ever.
I don't know much about emigrating to Greece, but i can testify that old Greek ladies are awesome
She'd always make inapropriate sexual jokes, and pinch my ass and stuff lol. And she made the best baklava this side of the atlantic :P
