That doesn't mean editing doesn't happen, of course it does. You can't have it being live for 24/7 on Channel 4 as it would be beyond boring and no one would watch it.

Read my previous posts. Therefore it is not what it was intended to be. It is maniupulated. It is edited to the viewer in favour of the slant that the producers wish the programme to follow - in an effort to entice viewers. It may not be scriped verbatim, but it most certainly is not aired without much influence from the programme makers. Thus it is not entirely. It is tweaked, pulled and nipped within an inch of it's life of the true version. As we hear from the vast majority of those who have taken part as contestants - when the come out of the house - they often try to explain that 'it wasnt quite like that / that's not what happened in truth' ... because it is edited to suit the programme makers. It is done so in an effort to entice viewers with maniupulated edits - that do not show all - or show it as it really 'was'.
The viewer is given a distorted vision - and not the clear cut, full version.
