Two weeks beforehand might be fine under normal circumstances, but this is Channel 5's first series. As it has been pointed out, a lot of Big Brother fans don't necessarily know it's back this summer - which you might expect with Channel 4 doing all they could to promote its death last year - so C5 really need to start getting the word out, the sooner the better. They should have ran adverts for the auditions last month.
