You need the grease & fat because when you're drinking, alcohol literally strips everything away and then the next 24 hours is repairing it all, but grease & fat helps the repair. Its why McDonalds is good the following day. Dunno what the exact explanation is but there is some psychology/science behind it
I never get hangovers no matter how much I've been drinking if i have kebab meat, and if I do get a hangover its usually quite bearable
