I think Lou did it for votes. She's high on her eviction win and now thinks she's invicible and possible stands a very good chance of winning. In fact I think she thinks it's between her and Alex now. Poor old naive and gullible Jay was roped into her look how generous, kind and lovely gift giving trick and has now taken all the stick with Louise looking pretty on the sidelines and stoking the bickering fire with her little pointed stick to ensure she looks good while everyone else is fighting.
She's gone from the beautiful naive normal girl next door innocent phase to the bitch from hell bomb shell phase in one weekend!

The thing about Louise is she's always likes to point out to the viewers and other HMs when she's done something good and how great and selfless she is. Another example is her telling Aaron that not many people would have done what she did in the nomination thing
