Hmm I think it's ok to have a separate thread when it's big news like this, a lot of people don't check the ratings thread as you can see by the replies in here that show some hadn't heard. It'd only be a problem if we had a thread everyday saying "Big Brother got 2.1 million last night
" or something like that
