I was (am) was the same... .only child and moved around the world a fair bit so time often was spent alone: but I was never lonely - because being on my own was 'normal' for me and I didn't find it an issue not having siblings.

I piss myself laughing recalling all the daftness I used to get upto on my own - as you say: with my imagination. It was great fun!
