If it wasn't for feminism women wouldn't be 'allowed' an education or to be able to read or write (it was a method to force women into marriage and keep them dependant on their husbands). They wouldn't be 'allowed' out of their homes without their Father's or Husband's permission because men 'owned' women and children. Mother's had, and still don't have in Africa, India and the Middle East et al., absolutely no rights as parents because the Father 'owned' the children even though the only part he played in it finished the moment he zipped up his flies. Where as it was the Mother who went through all the exhaustion and sleep deprivation of twenty four hour feeding and nappy changing and looking after the children every day. It was the Mother who risked her life by going through the agony and suffering of childbirth and it was the Mother who spent nine months of her life suffering from vomiting and back pain growing the baby in her body. This arrogant attitude of Fathers believing they own the children just because they had a shag (and nothing else) still exists today even in this country.

In some countries in the world, little girls are pinned down and have their genitals mutilated and sewn up, without any pain relief, to deprive sexual pleasure because sex is for the pleasure of a man and not for a woman, it's also designed to cause suffering during penetration. It also prolongs the suffering in childbirth and high numbers of women in some regions of Africa, India and the Middle East die a horrendously slow and agonising death. Some of these women were children themselves.

China is openly engaged in female infanticide and women are classed as cattle in Cambodia where girls as young as six years old are sold into the sex industry for perverted tourists because they don't care of the pain and suffering they inflict on these young girls because they think it's ok for a fully grown male to penetrate a child.

I could go on and on, but at no point in human history have men been enslaved, subjugated, tortured and murdered for being male by female hands like women have through out human history and it still continues today.

I don't agree with Lauren generalising all young men, but seeing as misogyny is on the rise in the male 18-30 demographic, I can see where she is coming from.

You have never experienced sexism. You wouldn't understand.
