I really do understand what you are saying. It is still many miles away from the original intent and concept, it is still far to flamboyant and 'Jeremy Kyleish' and is still aiming for and delivering far too much 'Teen summer pool party' nonsense,
however,
I just want to encourage 5 as they did (to any degree) stop going backwards and did take a few good steps towards the good.

So far (and knock on wood)
- They have not destroyed the very fundamental premise by introducing new HMs part-way through.

- They have been slightly more true to that 'microcosm of society and I did appreciate,
Chris was a chubby shorter guy, not pretty. Becky is young and pretty but is quite overweight (and not 'Josie' overweight but actual overweight).

- They don't appear to be manipulating rules and 'gaming their own system' in order to manipulate saving their faves.

- They do seem to have put emphasis back on tasks as sociological psychological experiments. Less as ridiculous 'clip show' highlights in wacky costumes.

- They seem to be focusing and following the original idea of characters interactions, conversations and relationships,
less on what superficial nonsense is going on with the 'outrageous ones'.

But yes.. its still far gone and features 90% 'Kyleness' but I want to strongly encourage them and give credit where its due.
Maybe next season they go ahead and crank us another 2 or 4 steps further?
