Default BB13 so is it classic BB or is it been abad bb?

Has it lived up to it first weeks and gone on to be one of the best bb's in years or has it slipped away like every BB after BB7.

Up there so far, as long as it doesn't start drifting.

Been **** so far compared to some of the ones from the past. Allowing housemates to discuss nominations long enough for one group to make a pact and pick their targets then banning it before the rest could band together and do the same killed it. Also lost too many big characters too soon.

If the second half continues to have me hooked like the first, then no doubt I will remember it as a classic. That bit of live feed was killing me and made me think of all the stuff I've not seen, wanted more.

Its been fantastic. Truely hooked.

The evictions have been disappointing up until now but drama and other HMs have stepped up to recover the loss.

BB9 never slipped away but to the heart of the matter here:
No, this season is getting better and in many ways is vindicating us 'purists'.
I would even say this has been a more 'Classic' BB than a lot of C4s later attempts. And its working.

And no, this is not cooling off and you have some people in there who (as a matter of course and construct) are going to exhibit plenty more characteristics.
Its a shame THIS is the shortened season after all. It's one of the best and wow has 5 gone a long way in redeeming itself.

It's the best series in awhile.

I think it's also a marmite series though, i've seen some people who absolutely love it and some people who hate it.

I think the best trait of this series is that every time a disappointing eviction result has come down (that would be Chris, Benedict, and Lydia), the rest of the house inevitably steps up its game and keep us watching. There was ample opportunity for things to fall to pieces after those three evictions - remember how Chris was the source of most of the drama in the first week? - but the quality of the series has remained consistently high. If we can ditch some of the deadwood in the next few weeks then we'll have a quality final. I'm excited.

It is a good series, it has been spoiled by the allowing of talking about nominations in the first weeks as somone else said above.
Sadly in the long run that will be seen as a very bad move in this series and created the scenario where people who shouldn't have been up for eviction were.

Although talking about noms was stopped midway through the first half of the series, the rot from that very bad decsion to be able to talk bout them by BB had already firmly set in.

It's ok, but I think people tend to get caught up in the moment. In a few years time nobody will remember it being anything special. As Joey says above, If the big characters, Bene, Chris, etc had stayed it might have made it.

I wouldn't call it classic BB. To me classic BB is season 2 and season 3. I just watched BB2 for the first time last week, and this is definitely not like the old days.

I think it's just a really great cast of housemates this year. Whoever was in charge of casting this year deserves a raise.

(on a side note, i LOVED BB2 and it really gave me a new appreciation for Brian, i loved him and he was such a great winner.)

I think Conor will be a lot more tame now that Aaron is gone. Everyone seems to dislike Caroline a lot now. She might be the last big villian in the house. If she's gone next week I think Ash/LukeS/Conor will be minor villians people will want out and a lot of the drama will be gone.... unless BB finds a way to get Luke and Conor going.

It's neither of those things. It's sitting on a fence where on one side you have mediocre and on the other side you have good.

Wasn't a big fan at first, but I think it's grown and became epic over the last few weeks, not a touch on last year's though.

It is C5's best yet but it is still very poor but at least it is something for jeremy kyle fans to watch in the evening.

i think overall its the best attempt of ch5 to make a great series, cast, task house etc. even with the abysbal eviciton results the last 3 weeks the series keeps on delivering great moments.
