To me, Craig is the closest to the Bond of the books who is quite a different animal to the Bond on screen. as with many topics we shall have to agree to disagree. I think the craig bond films are simply run of the mill boring action films, he lacks almost everything including, charisma, humour, charm, fun, one liners, gadgets etc Im also pretty sure fleming didnt write a politically correct bond either, so its not like the book in that aspect either
