I don't think it's about pack mentality at all. McCrae's been loyal to Amanda from the beginning and he will be until the end.
It's his own fault that he got himself tied down (figuratively & literally
) by Amanda, and if he was genuinely a good person, which I'm not really saying he's not then he would've dropped her like a bag of **** aaaages ago.
Amanda's acted like a dick from the beginning. Fair enough McCrae has told her that her comments are out of line but to be completely honest it says something about his character that he still associates with somebody who is probably one of the biggest ***** ever.
