Looking at the IAC winners I can't see any of them who did well off the back of it, quite a few of them have stuck around sort of in the public eye in the tv/entertainment industry like Biggins, Joe Swash, Stacey etc. but their time in the jungle hasn't had much to do with that (Tuffers is another who's still a big name in the sporting world but IAC is irrelevant to that)

There is a difference in perceptions towards the two shows too which is important imo, IAC is more popular and more commercial but has little impact on celebrities careers either way, there's not so much potential to either wreck someone's image or rehabiltate it because it's not that sort of show and the people who go on aren't that interested in doing that, they're generally decent celebs anyway who agree to a couple of weeks messing around in the jungle for a big pay check (I guess the likes of Katie/Peter and Marc/Cerys are exceptions to this)

The fact that CBB isn't as mainstream can help celebs too, like the vast majority of people don't really care about Rylan but winning the show has allowed him to become a bigger success in the narrower field of trashy reality tv, like the OP said it's sorta a bigger fish in smaller pond type thing
