Those that live in Ireland do not class those in Northern Ireland as Irish, according to my Irish relatives.
It's all going too far now and if she want's to say she's Irish I don't care, can't stand her anyway!!
Even now people from Cornwall do not want to be called English and want their own little country down there and call themselves Cornish!! The world's going mad!!

Well I am Irish and I would class her as Irish since she lives on the Island of Ireland, I would see Northern Ireland in very much the same way as I see Wales and Scotland, part of Britain but a country in their own right. Don't you know that Rory McIlroy is going to be playing for Ireland in the next Olympics
